MANILA, Philippines – Cebu-based Top Line Business Development Corp. has acquired an additional 38 retail fuel stations as it further expands its presence in the Visayas.

In a disclosure Tuesday, the company said it had set aside P925 million to buy and renovate the stations that will boost the network of Light Fuels, its retail arm.

Some of the new retail stations, it noted, are in Leyte, Siquijor, and Negros Oriental.

“As part of our flexible strategy for expansion, we explored opportunistic acquisitions of retail fuel stations to fast-track the growth of our Light Fuels brand,” said Eugene Erik Lim, Top Line chairman, president, and CEO.

“This acquisition supports our broader long-term growth objectives by enabling faster market entry and operational scalability,” he added.

Aside from the stations, Top Line has also purchased a depot facility and 15 fuel tanker trucks.
