Robinsons to operate Go Lokal store: trade dept
MANILA – Robinsons Department Store has agreed to operate Go Lokal! a shop that supports small businessmen, the Department of Trade and Industry said Tuesday.
The Go Lokal! shop will open at Robinsons Place Manila in March, the DTI said in a statement.
Ten percent of the net income generated by the store will go to social causes and projects including government-led drug rehabilitation initiatives, according to the statement.
In January, community mall developer CityMall Commercial Centers Inc. also agreed to open Go Lokal! stores in its existing and upcoming malls.
