MANILA, Philippines – Philippine Airlines (PAL) is expanding operations in Clark through the launch of flights to three new domestic destinations next month.

In a statement, the flag carrier said it is set to start flights to Bacolod from Clark three times a week, and to Tagbilaran from Clark daily starting June 22.

The Clark-Bacolod flights will depart at 7 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive at the City of Smiles at 8:15 a.m. The return flight, meanwhile, will leave at 8:55 a.m. and touch down in Clark at 10:10 a.m.

PAL’s Clark-Tagbilaran flights leave daily at 3 p.m. and will be in Bohol at 4:20 p.m., while the return flight departs at 6:40 a.m. and will arrive in Clark at 8 a.m.

On June 23, PAL will also begin flying to Cagayan de Oro from Clark four times per week.

The flight will depart Clark at 6:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and be in Cagayan de Oro at 8:10 a.m. The return flight leaves at 8:50 a.m. and will arrive in Clark at 10:30 a.m.

Passengers can avail of the promo round trip fare of P1,372 for Clark-Bacolod and Clark-Tagbilaran, and P1,820 for Clark-Cagayan de Oro if they book until Aug.15 of this year.

The travel period for the promo fare is from June 22 to Dec.15 of this year.

PAL is expanding operations at the Clark International Airport in line with the commitment to develop Clark as a hub.

At present, PAL flies from Clark to five domestic destinations such as Busuanga, Caticlan, Cebu, Davao and Puerto Princesa, and to one international point, Incheon in South Korea.

While PAL is adding more flights to Clark, it will temporarily suspend its Cebu-Los Angeles-Cebu service effective May 30, as the carrier rationalizes capacity on the route.

PAL’s Cebu-Los Angeles-Cebu service is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
